Day 1 - Addis Ababa- Awassa
After break fast head to Awassa. En route visit two of the crater lakes in the small town of Debre-Zeit. Also visit the Rift Valley lake of Ziway and have a chance to see other bird species near by the shore. Up on arrival in Awassa have refreshing time by the small Rift Valley lake of Awassa and also in the newly bustling time. O/n Awassa Shebelle Hotel (B, L, D) |

Day 2 - Awassa- Arba Minch
(The colorful Monday Dorze Market in Chencha) Early in the morning visit the big open-air fish market of Awassa and have a break fast. Drive to Arba Minch en route visit the famous Dorze village that are known with bamboo bee hut village and cotton woven clothes. Overnight Swaynes hotel (B, L, D) |
Day 3 - Arba Minch- Jinka
(The colorful Thursday Tsemay and Bena Market at Key Afer)
Take an early break fast and continue the drive to Jinka, one of the relatively big Town in the Omo Valley. This will be a day to admire the spectacular topography which continues to descend down to the Omo and characterized by warm temperature. If the day falls on Thursday there will be a colorful market in Key Afer where one can have the chance to see different tribes such as the Ari and Bena. Overnight Jinka Resort Hotel (B, L, D) |

Day 4 - Jinka-Mago-Mursi-Jinka
After an early break fast in the hotel have a day excursion to the settlement of the Mursi people known for their lip plating, body decorating and stick fighting culture. Take time by having picture and personal contact with the people and back to Jinka. There is a picnic lunch en route. Overnight Jinka Resort Hotel (B & D) |
Day 5 - Jinka- Dimeka-Turmi
After break fast head to Turmi, a settlement for the Hamer people very much known for their colorful hair style and bull jumping tradition at times of wedding. The ladies normally are adorned by leather made skirts decorated by sounding pearls and by gleaming aluminum normally fixed to their neck. There is a picnic lunch. En route visit to the colorful Dimeka market which is mainly attended by the elegant skin wearing Hamer and Benna women and decorated men. After taking time in the market straight drive to Turmi for over night stay. Overnight Evangadi Lodge camping (B, D) |
Day 6 - Turmi-Murulle-Turmi
After an early break fast in the hotel head to Murulle, a settlement for the Karo people famous for their unique body decorating culture. En route have a picnic lunch. Start sight seeing in the two villages of Dus and Kolcho. Visit also Kngate, a settlement for the Bume people and back to Turmi for over night stay. Overnight Evangadi Lodge camping (B, D) |

Day 7 - Turmi-Omo Rate-Turmi
After break fast drive to Omo rate, a settlement for the Dasenech or Geleb people. Up on arrival be transferred on the other side of Omo River by boat and take time in the village of the Dasenech people and back to Turmi. Overnight Evangadi Lodge camping (B, D) |

Day 8 - Turmi-Erbore- Konso (The colorful Tuesday Konso Market in Konso)
have break fast and head back to Konso. En route, first visit the Village of the Erbore people which shares many cultural features with the Oromo people in Borena and continue driving to Konso, a settlement for the Konso people. Overnight St. Mary Hotel (B, L, D) |
Day 9 - Konso- Arba Minch
After break fast in the hotel start sight seeing in Konso, which has got real African village and are known for their grave signs. Also a visit to the Konso’s King house which is a summery of the whole Konso tradition and cultural attributes. Take time of picture and visit in the village and drive to Arba Minch. In the evening have a Boat Trip on Lake Chamo to visit the Crocodile Market and also the Hippos. O/n Swaynes Hotel (B, L, D) |
Day 10 - Arba Minch- Addis Ababa and Departure
After an early break fast head to Addis Ababa. En route visit to the Rastafarian Village in the busy town of Shashemene. After lunch break have some more time of refreshing near by the Bilharzias free Rift valley lakes of Langano. Up on arrival in Addis Ababa, in the evening have a complementary Traditional Dinner and live- dancing show in one of the famous restaurant and be transferred to the Airport for departure |
