Jan 5, Day 1: Arrival and drive to Desse
In the morning have a break fast and head to Desse. En route have a visit to the Italian made Tunnel and the mouth of the Rift Valley system at a place called “Tarmaber”. O/n Hotel

Jan 6, Day 2: Drive to Lalibela
Drive from Desse to Lalibela. En route visit the island monastery of Stephen. Attend the Ethiopian X-mass eve festival in Lalibela which is colorful. O/n Hotel |
Jan 7, Day 3: Visit the Rock-hewn churches of Lalibela.
Early in the morning after breakfast head to the rock-hewn church to attend the morning ceremony of X-mass celebration and continue exploring the UNESCO registered world wonders of the rock-hewn churches (1st group) only. After lunch head for a visit of the remaining churches. O/n Hotel

Jan 8, Day 4: Visit the surrounding Rock-hewn churches.
Trek up to the Mountain to visit the rock church of Asheton Mariam and back to Lalibela for lunch beak. In the afternoon visit the other Cave church of Nakutola’ab. O/n Hotel |
Jan 9, Day 5: Drive to Mekelle
Head to Mekelle via the Sekota road. On the way visit the least visited but famous world-renowned Cave church of Yimrhane Kirstos. O/n Hotel |
Jan 10,Day 6: Visit the rock-churches of Tigray
After break fast visit the near by famous rock churches of Petros and Paulos, Medhane Alem Adi Kasho and back to Mekelle for overnight stay. O/n Hotel |

Jan 11, Day 7: Drive to Axum
Drive Mekelle- Axum. On the way visit the Yeha Temple, Debre Damo monastery, Abreha-Atsbeha rock church, Negash Mosque. O/n Hotel |

Jan 12, Day 8: Visit Axum
In the morning have a visit to Axum’s St. Mary of Zion church, Stele of Axum and the tomb there and the Bath of Queen Sheba. After lunch head to the Palace of Sheba, the Tomb of King Kaleb and his son (6th century), stone inscription of king Ezana. O/n Hotel |
Jan 13, Day 9: Drive to Semien Mountain National Park.
Drive to Sankaber via the scenic beauty of the Semien mountains and also the Tekeze gorge. Observe the magnificent scenery, birds and game like an endemic Gelada Baboon. O/N Camping |

Jan 14, Day 10: Semien Mountain National Park.
Start trekking from Sankaber to Geech which is the most scenic road. O/n camping

Jan 16, Day 12: Gondar
Continue trekking to Chenek, another scenic spot where you have the chance to spot the other endemic wild animal, Walia Ibex. O/n camping |
Jan 17, Day 13: Semien Mountain National Park
Trek from Chenek to Ambiquo a breathtaking site in the park, whose scenery is published by many promotions. O/n camping |
Jan 18, Day 14: Drive from Semien Mountain National Park to Gondar
Drive from Semien Mountain National Park- Gondar. Along the road visit the Felasha, Ethiopian Jew village and attend the eve Epiphany celebration at the bathing pool of Gondar. O/n Hotel |

Jan 19, Day 15: Gondar
Attend the colorful religious celebration of epiphany festival and also visit the 17th century castles of Gondar together with the bathing castle of King Fasilades. Have a visit to the colorfully church of Debre-Brehan Selassie. O/n Hotel |

Jan 20, Day 16: Drive to Bahir Dar
Drive back to Bahir Dar and make boat cruise on Lake Tana to explore the ancient medieval monasteries of Ura Kidanemheret. In the afternoon take lunch and proceed to the Blue-Nile falls. O/n Hotel

Jan 21, Day 17: Drive back to Addis Ababa and departure
In the morning start driving back to Addis Ababa. En route visit the 13th century historical monastery of Debre-Libanos. Up on arrival be taken to do shopping. In the evening have traditional traditionally Dinner and show and be transferred to airport for departure |

Drive back to Addis Ababa. En route visit the mouth of Rift Valley system at Tarmaber and Italian made tunnel. In the evening have a complimentary traditional dinner and dancing show and be transferred to airport for departure.
